When the rental period ends, you as a landlord will receive an email where you can contact us to make a claim for the deposit. You have 10 days to do so. Make sure that everything is in order (that nothing is broken etc), and let us know by the link in the email if we can repay it. If you find any damages or that something is missing deny the return and contact us by creating a deposit claim here.
If you rent out your vacation home, no deposit is needed. However, a Swedish BankID is required.
