Start searching for a new home by creating an account. In your profile you will have the opportunity to write a bio, tell about your employment, and what previous housing references you have. Fill out your profile information fully, in order to maximize your chances with landlords. When you are satisfied with your profile you can contact the landlord by clicking "Contact" in the listing.
Find a home
We've introduced a new system at Qasa for an easier and safer process to find a new accommodation. This means that the first contact always happens via a contact request on Qasa. It is not binding and super simple. You will be able to select what price range you are looking for, size and location. Click on interesting listings for more information and contact the landlord with one simple click on the “Contact” button.
The landlord receives a notification regarding your message. They then get the opportunity to either accept or deny it. If accepted, a chat is started. You can find it under messages.
When you and the landlord feel ready to sign a rental agreement you can easily do so. The service is designed to ensure fraudulent-free subletting. In addition, we hope to bring security and knowledge to the sublease for both you and the landlord. You will be assisted throughout the entire rental period with everything from creating a lease to ensuring that your rights as a tenant are considered, Qasa will handle all payments and give you personal support during the rental if needed.
Keep track of your contact requests
Track all your requests under the "message request" tab in your message inbox. When a landlord chooses to accept your request, the request will move to your inbox, and you can start to chat. You can then ask any questions you might have and schedule a time to view the home.
Sign the rental agreement
Once you have agreed to sublet the home, the landlord will generate a lease tailored to your rental. You sign it online using BankID, quick and easy. If you don't have BankID, contact us through our chat support and we'll help you sign it without BankID. Please note that Qasa never requires money upon the signing process. When you sign your rental agreement, you only pay the monthly cost stated in the listing and the lease plus a deposit, which is sent to you by e-mail and invoiced using Billecta.
When you sign your rental agreement, a credit check (micro UC) will be done. In some cases, you may have to pay a 2 monthly deposit instead of one if it’s a negative output. If you’d like to know for sure before signing, you can find out today by doing a credit check via your profile here.
Payments through us
Once the signing process is finished, it is time to pay the deposit, which will be paid through a deposit invoice sent to your e-mail. We will safely handle all your rental payments and keep your deposit protected. This makes our services free from potential frauds.
Make sure never to pay anything directly to the landlord. We never allow payments via tools such as Trustly, Skrill, or any other 3rd party payment services. We only use invoicing, and all payments are made to our bank giro service. This is always through our partners Billecta.
