Chat with interested parties
When you have published a listing, interested tenants will quickly start contacting you. All inquiries are collected in your messages, and you can easily continue the conversation or decline.
What does declining a message mean?
By declining a message, you inform the tenant that you are not interested. This way, you can provide feedback to the tenant effectively. The message remains, and you can still chat with the tenant if you change your mind!
What does archiving a message mean?
You can also archive a message. It will then be moved to a separate inbox accessible through the chat's filter. It's an easy way to keep your messages organized. Both you and the tenant can still write to each other, even if the message is archived.
What does marking a chat as a favorite mean?
By marking a conversation as a favorite, you can keep your inbox organized. The favorites will stand out among your other messages, and you can also filter to show only them.
I can't find any chats in the Blocket app
Qasa is a separate platform and unfortunately does not appear in the "regular" Blocket mobile app. If you want to use your mobile device, you can do so via the mobile browser. We are working on developing a dedicated Qasa app, so stay tuned!
Search among tenant profiles
If you don't want to wait for incoming inquiries, you can search among thousands of public tenant profiles yourself. Click on Tenants in the main menu and follow the instructions!
Evaluate candidates
At the top of your conversation with each tenant, you will find the user's profile. It is, of course, essential that you feel comfortable with the person you are renting to, and the profile can help you form a well-founded opinion.
What does it mean to have verified ID?
If a tenant has a verified personal identity number, it means that it has been verified with BankID.
The fact that a user has not verified their ID does not necessarily mean that they are a bad tenant. Many of our tenants move to Sweden for work or education. This means they may already be admitted to a university with student support or have a well-paying job without having a Swedish personal identity number. In the Swedish system, you cannot apply for a Swedish personal identity number without having active employment. Often, they need housing before moving here and starting their employment. In other words, these individuals may have a high and stable income, but we cannot verify it until they obtain a personal identity number.
What does it mean to have approved references?
If a tenant has approved references it means they have provided references who has answered four control questions:
- Was the residence left in a clean and satisfactory condition after move-out?
- Did you receive any justified complaints from neighbors during the rental period?
- Was the communication between yourself and this person satisfactory?
- Would you recommend this person as a tenant?
The reference must give a positive answer on all four questions for it to be approved. An approved reference provides extra security for you as a landlord. To protect the personal integrity of the references we do not share their contact information.
Does Qasa conduct a credit check?
We conduct a credit check on the tenant when you sign the rental agreement. This is to verify that the person does not have such significant debts that we cannot assume the credit risk and guarantee your rent.
