How Do I Link My Account?
HomeQ is a tool for large property owners and a marketplace for first-hand housing.
Thanks to our collaboration, their listings for first-hand housing are available on Qasa. Together, we can gather available apartments from hundreds of housing companies in one place. This makes us the largest in Sweden for both first-hand and second-hand rentals.
The property owners who use HomeQ are called professional partners. They use different types of selection processes. When you apply for a first-hand residence on Qasa, you connect your account to HomeQ so that property owners can receive your application.
Background
In spring 2024, it was confirmed that Qasa is merging with HomeQ to create Sweden's largest platform for housing rentals. The integration means that all listings for first-hand housing on HomeQ are also available on Qasa. If you've had a user account with HomeQ previously, you can now use your queue points on HomeQ at Qasa by connecting your Qasa account to HomeQ. If you've been a member of Qasa or Blocket Bostad longer than on HomeQ, you get 1 point per day up to 500 points. Your queue points are administered by HomeQ but are visible on Qasa. When you've applied to a HomeQ listing, communication with the landlord takes place on the HomeQ platform
Why Do I Need to Link My Account?
To apply for a listing published by a professional landlord, your user account must be linked to HomeQ. This is because the landlord has used HomeQ's platform to create and publish the listing.
If you already have a user account with HomeQ, you only need to approve linking it to your Qasa account. Alternatively, you can easily create a new account on HomeQ. Once your account is linked to HomeQ, your queue points will appear in your Qasa profile, and you will be able to use them when applying for selected first-hand rentals on Qasa.
How Do I Link My Account?
You will be prompted to link your account when you apply for an apartment. When you click "Apply" on a listing, you will have the option to link your account as part of completing the application.
To link your account, it must be verified with BankID.
Currently, this is the only way to link your account.
Why Can't I Link Both My Blocket Bostad and Qasa Account?
If you have already linked a Qasa or Blocket x Qasa account to your HomeQ account, it is unfortunately not possible to link an additional account. This is because only one account can be linked to your ID number on HomeQ.
If you would like to change which account is linked to HomeQ, please contact our support, and we will assist you further.
At the moment, it is not possible to completely remove a link, but we are working on developing this feature and hope to offer it in the future.
