This article only applies to applications for first-hand housing through professional partners.
Find your applications
You can find all your applications to professional partners in the chat on Qasa.
Withdraw an application
When you have applied for a first-hand residence created and published by our professional partners (via HomeQ's platform), you can see the status of your application on Qasa, but you need to go to HomeQ to manage it. You can easily navigate to the right place on HomeQ by going to your conversations on Qasa, selecting the application you want to manage, and clicking on the three dots on the right. There you can click on "Remove application" and you will be linked to the correct place on HomeQ.
When will I get a response?
The time it takes to get a response to an expression of interest can vary and take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. A long wait time may be due to other applicants being ahead of you in the ranking and the landlord starting by calling them for viewings first.
If you receive an offer for an apartment
If you become eligible for an apartment, the landlord will send an offer via email and usually call for a viewing at the same time. It's important that you read the information in the email carefully as it contains information on how to proceed to book a viewing and any applicable deadlines.
You can see if you have received an offer among your conversations on Qasa, but you need to go to HomeQ to respond to the offer. You can access HomeQ by clicking on the link in the email that comes from Qasa when you've received an offer, or by going into your conversations as described above.
Accept or decline an offer
There is no limit to how many times you can accept or decline offers. However, it's good to keep in mind that some landlords may stop sending offers if you decline their apartments too many times.
Queue points are only reset after a contract has been signed.
If the response time for the offer has expired, you automatically decline the offer.
If the apartment is rented to someone else
If the apartment is rented to someone else, you will receive automatic feedback and your expression of interest will disappear from the current apartment. If questions arise during the process about the residence or the viewing, you should always contact the landlord directly.
Your queue points are not affected if you don't get to rent the apartment; they are only reset after the contract has been signed.
If the response time for the offer has expired, you automatically decline the offer.
If you accidentally decline an offer
If you accidentally decline an offer, you can contact the landlord directly. In some cases, the landlord can change your response if the listing is still active. There is no limit to how many times you can accept or decline offers, however, landlords may stop sending offers if you decline their apartments too many times.
If you need to contact the landlord
You can find the landlord's email address in the email sent when you receive an offer. Another option is to contact the property company's customer service. You can do this by searching for the company's name, which you can usually find via the logo in the listing. If the landlord's logo does not appear in the listing, the landlord wishes to remain anonymous.
