On June 19, 2026, the Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) in Sweden will be updated to provide you, as a consumer, with stronger protection online. For you as a Qasa user, this means clearer information and a smoother process should you wish to withdraw from an agreement. Here, we outline how this works in practice based on our Terms of Service.
Withdrawing from or Canceling Qasa's Services on a Lease Agreement
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the services provided by Qasa in connection with the lease agreement within 14 days from the day you accept our Terms of Service (which occurs when the lease agreement is signed).
Important to know about the lease agreement: Withdrawing from Qasa's services does not mean that the lease agreement itself is automatically terminated, as Qasa is not a party to the lease agreement. The lease agreement remains in effect in accordance with its own terms.
Because our service provides protection for both the landlord and the tenant, you cannot unilaterally cancel the Service. Therefore, if you wish to cancel Qasa's service, you must either:
- Terminate the lease agreement (when possible within the framework of the law).
- Obtain the explicit consent of your counterparty.
How Do I Go About Withdrawing from Qasa's Services?
Under the new law, exercising your right of withdrawal directly online should be simple. You submit your request to withdraw from the service via our digital feature:

In the feature, you will need to provide the following:
- Your name
- Information about the agreement you wish to withdraw from (e.g., address or contract number)
- The email address where you would like us to send your confirmation
Once you have submitted your request, you must explicitly confirm that you want to withdraw from the service.
Note: Notices to withdraw from or cancel the service are only accepted in writing via the feature/form to ensure proper documentation; this cannot be handled via chat or telephone.
What Happens After Confirmation?
As soon as you have confirmed your choice, we will immediately send you a digital acknowledgment of receipt.
The acknowledgment of receipt contains:
- The details of what you have withdrawn from (your agreement information).
- The date and exact time we received your request.
We will then process the case, and if the requirements are met (e.g., the counterparty has approved or the agreement has been terminated), Qasa's services will be removed from the lease agreement.
